Government Covid-19 guidance for nomadic communities

The Government has updated its published Guidance on what to do if someone develops Covid-19 symptoms when living on a Traveller site, in a vehicle or on a boat, including information on additional support from local authorities. The Guidance is online here

In November 2020 Lord Greenhalgh, Minister for Communities, wrote to all local authorities in England to inform them that local interventions and support would be needed once again “over the coming months to ensure the safety of Gypsy and Traveller communities and to contain the spread of the virus”.
