LONDON NBTA MEETING, SATURDAY 21ST JUNE, VICTORIA EMBANKMENT

There will be a National Bargee Travellers Association meeting for boaters who are in the London area either permanently or temporarily. The meeting will be on Saturday 21st June at 5pm on the Tattershall Castle, Victoria Embankment, Whitehall, London SW1A 2HR.

If you want to find out more about the NBTA, or if you want to get involved in organising action to defend the interests of Bargee Travellers / itinerant live-aboard boaters in London, please come to this meeting. NBTA TO SPEAK AT PEOPLE’S FLOTILLA RALLY, MILTON KEYNES, THIS SATURDAY 7TH JUNE

The NBTA is sending a speaker to the People’s Flotilla Against Austerity rally at Pear Tree Bridge, Milton Keynes, MK6 3PE on Saturday 7th June 2014. Join us with the NBTA banner at 2pm to 4pm. After the rally we plan to hand in the 5000+ signature petition calling on Canal & River Trust to stop evicting disabled, elderly and vulnerable boat dwellers. The petition was started by a member of the NBTA in January. Join us at 4pm to walk to the CRT head office at Station House, 500 Elder Gate, Milton Keynes MK9 1BB to hand it in or meet us there at 4.45pm.
