Following a successful meeting in Leeds on 15-11-2015 live-aboard boaters across the north of England decided to set up National Bargee Travellers Association North.
Enforcement against boaters without home moorings on CRTs northern waterways has been particularly draconian. Many boaters who attended the meeting commented that they had very little information about what rights they have and whether the CRT enforcement was lawful.
The Group will be meeting regularly across the region.
