March with NBTA tomorrow against the criminalisation of peaceful protest and nomadic ways of life

March with the NBTA banner in London tomorrow Saturday 3rd April in protest against the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill. Meet NBTA’s London branch at 12.15 at Marble Arch. Look for the blue and white NBTA banner. The march begins at 1pm at Speakers Corner in Hyde Park.

Why? Bargee Travellers have often in the past and will in the future peacefully demonstrate to protect our rights and our way of life. This new law will criminalise both peaceful protest and the nomadic way of life. The NBTA stands in solidarity with the rights of all nomadic people.

The march and rally will be a peaceful protest in central London from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday April 3rd, although we can’t guarantee the police will be non-violent.

Protect the right to freedom of speech and for non-violent protest for us, and for our childre,n because once these laws pass they will become the norm.
Please join us. We will maintain social distancing and other Covid-19 safety measures.
