National Bargee Travellers Association (NBTA) is looking to pay someone to help coordinate local actions outside of London and find ways to involve people in the NBTA outside London. Here is our website :https://www.bargee-traveller.
The aim of the job is to encourage more people inside the NBTA to organise themselves into local groups. The role isn’t to just fill in for NBTA activists but to enact a strategy to encourage NBTA activists to organise into groups with actions for themselves.
You would be working closely with others who are already working with this aim in mind. So you wouldn’t be alone in your endeavour. Others you’d work with would encourage your thoughts and ideas.
You must be both skilful at working independently and within a team. It would be beneficial if you had a good ability to understand others and democratic organisations systems.
The job would be on a self-employed basis at £15 per hour for 12 hours per month (currently for a max of 12 months). Please contact secretariat@bargee-traveller.
