Following a successful weekend on 15th and 16th June handing out hundreds of leaflets and getting several hundred petition signatures at the Hayes Canal Festival in London and the Bradley Canal Festival in Wolverhampton, NBTA is asking supporters if they can help leaflet and talk to members of the public at future events where CRT is having a stall. We have a list of events we are planning to leaflet at, but we don’t have organisers for all of them, and need more volunteers. If you are interested in helping to inform the public about CRT’s discriminatory licence fee increases, the next events where we plan to leaflet are:
Linslade Canal Festival 27th July
Anderton Pirate Weekend 10th -11th August
Burnley Canal Festival 25th August
Tipton Canal and Community Festival 21st – 22nd September
